Welcome to Ingestre Lodges: beautiful and unique self-catering accommodation in the Heart of England. The 2 properties that make up Ingestre Lodges are Chetwynd and Talbot, and they can be hired individually or together for small to large groups from 2 to 16 people. We guarantee a relaxing and peaceful stay, away from the fast pace of modern life. Our Lodges are ideal for a romantic break, family party or a friends reunion. Our central location means we are only minutes from the M6 and the mainline rail station at Stafford.

Our location


Our Grade II listed Jacobean style lodges are located in the grounds of Staffordshire’s first conservation area – Ingestre Village. Ingestre Lodges serviced accomdation occupies one range of the quadrangle which forms the New Stables, built by the 20th Earl of Shrewsbury in 1886. Most of the rest of this listed building is occupied by Ingestre Riding School, giving visitors easy access to equestrian activities on their doorstep. As this is a charming working stables you will often see horses and ponies walking around the courtyard and grazing in the surrounding fields.

About

Part of the Earl of Shrewsbury’s former Ingestre estate, the Lodges comprises of three self-contained units for use as guest accommodation and is within the designated Ingestre Conservation Area.

Ingestre Lodges is 3 stunning Individual self-catering properties. Mixing contemporary with antique and beautiful furniture from various films. The lodges are compelling combination of traditional character and 21st Century comforts.

Chetwynd and Talbot  offer an exceptional and unique way to enjoy your wedding, with accommodation for Bride and Groom’s families and the couple themselves.

Riding breaks

As Ingestre Lodges shares the New Stables site with Ingestre Riding School, why not book the family in for a few riding lessons or a week long course?
